01 Introduction & Acceptance
These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern every purchase, installation booking and repair or service request made with Azad Sound Service ("we", "us", "our", "the Store"), operating from Shop No. 10853, Sector 17, Main Bazar, Derabassi, Distt. SAS Nagar Mohali, Punjab.
By visiting our store, placing an order over the phone or in person, or availing any repair or installation service from us, you ("customer", "you") agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, we would request you not to proceed with a purchase or service booking with us.
02 About Azad Sound Service
Azad Sound Service is a local electronics retail and service establishment dealing in televisions, refrigerators, washing machines, air conditioners, microwave ovens, home theatre and sound systems, and other household electronic appliances of leading brands. Alongside retail sales, we also undertake installation and repair services for the products we sell.
03 Products & Pricing
- Prices displayed in-store or quoted over the phone are subject to change without prior notice, in line with supplier and market pricing.
- We make reasonable efforts to ensure that product descriptions, specifications and pricing shared with you are accurate. Manufacturers occasionally revise specifications, and we are not liable for such changes made outside our control.
- Any discount, offer or scheme communicated verbally or through in-store material is valid only for the period specified and subject to stock availability.
- The final price payable, including applicable taxes, installation charges or transportation charges, will be confirmed to you at the time of billing.
04 Orders & Payment
Orders may be placed in-store or by calling us on any of our listed phone numbers. An order is considered confirmed once payment (advance or full, as agreed) has been received and acknowledged by us.
- We accept cash, card and standard digital payment modes as available at the time of purchase.
- For products booked against an advance payment, the balance amount is payable at the time of delivery or installation, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
- Invoices and bills issued by us should be retained by the customer, as they are required for any warranty, exchange or service claim.
05 Delivery & Installation
Delivery timelines communicated at the time of sale are estimates and may vary due to stock position, transport availability or circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
- Where installation is included with a product (such as air conditioners or washing machines), our team or an authorised technician will schedule a convenient time with you.
- The customer is responsible for ensuring reasonable access to the installation site and for any structural, electrical or plumbing readiness required for installation.
- Additional material, wiring, stabilisers or fittings not included in the standard installation package may be chargeable separately, and will be communicated before the work is carried out.
06 Warranty & Guarantee
All products sold by us carry the standard manufacturer's warranty applicable to that brand and model. Warranty terms, duration and coverage are set by the respective manufacturer and not by Azad Sound Service.
Warranty does not cover damage caused by misuse, unauthorised repair, power fluctuation (where a stabiliser was recommended but not used), natural calamity, or normal wear and tear of consumable parts.
07 Returns, Replacement & Cancellation
- Products may be returned or exchanged only if reported as defective at the time of delivery, or within the period communicated to you at the time of billing.
- Products that have been installed, used or where the original packaging and accessories are missing are generally not eligible for return, except where a genuine manufacturing defect is confirmed by an authorised technician.
- Cancellation of a confirmed order after advance payment may attract a deduction towards costs already incurred, which will be communicated to you at the time of cancellation.
- Any refund due will be processed to the original mode of payment within a reasonable timeframe after the item is received back and inspected.
08 Repair & After-Sales Service
We offer repair and servicing for sound systems, home theatres and other electronic appliances, whether or not originally purchased from us.
- An estimate of repair charges will be shared with you before work begins, wherever possible. Charges may vary once the technician inspects the actual fault.
- Items left with us for repair should be collected within a reasonable period after we notify you of completion. We are not responsible for items left uncollected for an extended period beyond notification.
- We are not liable for pre-existing faults, data, settings or content stored on a device that are unrelated to the specific repair requested.
09 Customer Responsibilities
- Provide accurate contact and address details for delivery, installation or service visits.
- Inspect products at the time of delivery and report any visible damage or discrepancy immediately.
- Use products in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions to keep the warranty valid.
- Make timely payment as per the agreed terms for any order or service.
10 Limitation of Liability
To the extent permitted by applicable law, Azad Sound Service's liability in connection with any product or service shall not exceed the amount paid by the customer for that specific product or service. We shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential loss, including loss of use, data or business, arising from a product defect, delay or service issue.
Nothing in these Terms limits any statutory right you may have as a consumer under applicable Indian consumer protection law.
11 Intellectual Property
The Azad Sound Service name, the "ASS" logo and all related branding displayed in our store and on this website are the property of Azad Sound Service. Product names, brand logos and trademarks of the manufacturers we deal in belong to their respective owners and are used only to describe the products we sell.
12 Governing Law & Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute arising out of a purchase or service with Azad Sound Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts having authority over SAS Nagar (Mohali), Punjab.
13 Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or applicable law. The updated version will be posted here with a revised "Last updated" date. Continued purchase or use of our services after such changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
